My journey in glass fusing began over two decades ago. I enjoy mixing transparent with opalescent glass to see the way light filters through.

During the pandemic I became immersed in my art and deeply explored colors and techniques. I added vibrant reds, oranges and yellows to my color pallet and delve deeply into casting and wall pieces.

A variety of techniques are used to create my cast glass hearts. One technique I developed involves suspending layers of stacked glass on steel rods above the mold. The heat from the kiln melts the glass through the rods creating unique movement in each heart. Other hearts I create have a transparent window in the middle. A speck of contrasting glass is placed inside the window to add interest and to ponder.

My large format wall art uses glass strips to resemble the traditional technique of weaving. The wave length pieces use thread like glass to create the wave illusion. My weaves and wave length pieces are framed and ready to hang on your wall.

My designs are one of a kind. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing any of my work.

I enjoy the metamorphosis of kiln work. It's Christmas morning when I open the kiln and see the magic of what the heat does to the glass.
